Warehouse Notes October 2022

 Happy Fall! And it sure has arrived quickly.

 I feel like a bit of a broken record when I tell you that supply chain issues continue. And it’s still the same issues – material shortages, labour shortages, freight delays.

 I don’t have much else to report on at this point in time. I’m starting to look ahead to 2023 for new products and promotions. As a purchaser I’m never really living in the present.

 The new product that’s trickling in was mostly supposed to arrive earlier in the year and was delayed until now. But at least it keeps things a little bit interesting during the calmer months!

 We are starting to bring in winter items – salt, winter windshield washer fluid, and snow scrapers are coming into the warehouse already. I’m hoping it’ll be a mild winter, but the forecast isn’t looking great on that front. We’ll be as prepared as we can be here at Omni, though, never fear!
